Junior outfielder Cara Waskiewicz hit a two-out three-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the William Tennent girls softball team past Archbishop Wood 4-3 Saturday in Warminster.

The Panthers defeated Lower Moreland 13-3 Tuesday for their fourth win of the season. Tennent concludes a three-game homestand Thursday against Wissahickon.

Archbishop Wood bounced back in a big way, thumping Neumann-Goretti 15-0 Tuesday for its first win of the season. The Vikings traveled to Villa Joseph Marie Wednesday in a game that ended after the Herald went to print. Wood visits Little Flower Catholic Thursday.
