Local businesses have always been able to count on the Herald.

Since our founding in 2002 by Bridget and Joseph T. Wingert, our team has worked its hardest to help make our region a vibrant place to live, work and prosper.

The Herald helps our community and local businesses to thrive by providing:

  • Free, 100% trusted, nonpartisan local news coverage of government, economic development, real estate, transportation and other news that impacts our daily lives.
  • Generous support of our civic life that keeps our community strong--from arts, culture, sports and community events, to Rotary fundraisers and Chamber golf outings.
  • Favorable publicity to hundreds of small businesses each year. Whether it’s an expansion story, a ribbon-cutting, sponsorship or new hire, we cover it all in support of local businesses.
