Peddler’s Village OctoberFeast to include German-themed food, beverages, entertainment

Peddler’s Village in Lahaska will host an OctoberFeast celebration during the weekend of Oct. 20 and 21.

Geared toward visitors of all ages, the festival will include entertainment as well as a beer and food garden.

Activities will include ax throwing for adults; for children there will be pony rides, pumpkin painting, face painting, a bounce house, sand art, lawn games, and more. Rain or shine, the festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Food featured in the OctoberFeast garden will include bratwurst, frankfurters, currywurst, Schnitzelwich, kartoffelpuffer, German potato pancakes, and spaetzle.
