The historic Newtown Theatre will celebrate “Galentine’s Day” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, with a special, 21-and-older screening of 2023’s smash hit “Barbie.” This special event is sponsored by Blaak Out Training.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and in the hour leading up to the movie guests can enjoy one complementary drink (beer, wine, canned cocktail, or a signature Barbie cocktail), free popcorn, and the chance to mingle and take pictures with a real-life Ken.
Special activities during that hour will include party games and Barbie trivia. All guests are encouraged to come dressed in pink and prizes will be awarded for “Pinkest Outfit” and “Most Creative Use of Pink.”
Only guests 21 and older will be admitted to this event. Tickets are $27 or $22 for theater members and are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com.
The Newtown Theatre is located at 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough.
