Buckingham resident participates in DeSales 72-Hour Film Challenge

Posted

DeSales University TV/film major Eric Krause from Buckingham co-directed a short film and participated in the university’s 72-Hour Film Challenge.

Final films were streamed on Monday, Nov. 21.

Putting limits on creativity can result in spectacular work as artists find ways to succeed despite restrictions. The DeSales students had just one weekend to work with a crew to make their short film. Writing, shooting, and editing was completed within a 72-hour window starting Thursday, November 18, and ending Sunday, Nov 20.

The compressed time period demands smart planning, skillful screenwriting, focused shooting, and quick editing decisions. This unique approach can lead to outstanding films and truly unique stories.
