The Pickleball Pals of Pennsbury took to the courts May 1.
Organized by Claude Bacchia of Langhorne, Pickleball Pals began with just a handful of people and has grown to 300-plus members. Approximately 20 members participated in the May 1 meetup at Langhorne’s Firefighters’ Park, where old tennis courts were converted into eight new pickleball courts in 2023.
In addition to free play, Pickleball Pals of Pennsbury is adding clinics and training to its meetups at Firefighters’ Park.
