Brews & Bites on tap Saturday at Pennsbury Manor

Posted

The historic Pennsbury Manor is preparing for a large crowd of visitors at this year's annual Brews & Bites fundraising event scheduled for June 24.

The event will feature craft beer tastings from breweries in Bucks County and beyond, the region's favorite food trucks for tasty eats, and live music from 4-8 p.m. Attendees will also be treated to 17th century brewing demonstrations live on the grounds of Pennsbury Manor on the banks of the Delaware in Morrisville, Bucks County.

Among the breweries attending are: Newtown Brewing Company, Ship Bottom Brewery, Odd Logic Brewing Co., Blackledge Research Winery, Second Sin Brewing Company, Bitchin' Kitten Brewing, Naked Brewing Company, and more.

Food trucks include: Smokin Rev and Lady Q's Gourmet Barbeque, and Lil Trents Grille. The event will also feature music by August, a Motown & Classic Rock 'n' Roll band.

"This event is ideal for beer lovers and history buffs alike. Brews & Bites is definitely one of Pennsbury Manor's most anticipated fundraising events," said Zachary Brian Long, museum educator II, Pennsbury Manor. "Guests are treated to the best of both worlds as they savor delicious craft beers while listening to live bands as they explore the stunning historic grounds of Pennsbury Manor. The food trucks are very popular too. It's going to be a fantastic event."

All Brews & Bites attendees must be 21 to participate. Advance tickets are required and can be purchased online through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/brews-and-bites-tickets-628012059977.
