Yardley puts a twist on traditional photography exhibit

A display of 30 photographs taken of places in Yardley Borough in the early to mid-1900s, is coming back to town this weekend.

But “Yardley — The Way We Were” is an exhibit with a twist.

Each image will be on display at the location where it was originally photographed, so that passersby can enjoy a "then-and-now" experience.

The outdoor exhibit runs from July 15 to Aug. 14 and is being sponsored by two local non-profit organizations, the Yardley Historical Association and Experience Yardley, to encourage people to visit downtown and further explore its rich and colorful past.
