Wine & Art Trail Exhibition closing reception draws a large crowd

Posted

Over 125 people filed through the doorway of Doylestown’s Freeman Hall Friday, Sept. 29, to enjoy the closing reception for the popular Wine & Art Trail Exhibition.

The project is a collaboration of Visit Bucks County and the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County.

Guests viewed nearly 100 artworks by the 60 artists who brought the project to life by painting scenes at the seven participating wineries.

The Arts Council had set out a lavish buffet, including cookies shaped like wine glasses and artists’ palettes. Rose Bank Winery and Wycombe Winery had representatives on hand to pour samples of their wines. Visit Bucks County staff members circulated in the crowd, offering corkscrew wine stoppers as souvenirs of the party.
