Whimsical world of “Seussical the Musical” arrives at Town and Country Players

Prepare to embark on a fantastical journey when “Seussical the Musical” hits the Town & Country Players stage on Route 263 in Buckingham weekends from July 14 through 29.

Combining the timeless brilliance of Dr. Seuss's beloved characters with the magic of theater, “Seussical” is a spectacle that will transport audiences of all ages into the wondrous world of the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, and the colorful inhabitants of Whoville.

The mischievous Cat in the Hat (Dana Joy Carducci) serves as the guide through a whirlwind of Seussian adventures. Audiences will meet Horton (Jason Herbert), a gentle giant with an immense heart who hears a tiny voice coming from a speck of dust. Join Horton on his mission to protect the Whos and witness the power of friendship and loyalty in the face of adversity.

The show is directed by Susan Galli, with vocals directed by Mindy Rubinlicht. Melissa Angelo Schiumo, who plays Mayzie LaBird.

Expect vibrant colors, larger-than-life props, and whimsical costumes that will make you feel like you've stepped into the pages of a Dr. Seuss book. “Seussical” is more than just a musical; it's “an enchanting experience that reminds us all of the importance of kindness, acceptance, and the power of being true to oneself.”
