Artist renderings unveiled this month provide an early glimpse into what’s planned for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s 2024 flower show.
Scheduled to run March 2-10 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show’s theme is “United by Flowers,” celebrating “the colorful community that comes together to share in their love of gardening, flowers and plants...”
The images depict activities geared toward young people and families, including a Kids Cocoon, where children can plant seedlings, read a story and take part in activities run by local partners, and a series of Potting Parties where people of all ages can hone their craft under the guidance of designer Tu Bloom, the official Botanical Artist of the Grammy Awards.
At the same Friday press conference that unveiled the renderings, the society announced additions to the lineup of new and returning exhibitors and events that’ll be part of the show’s 195th iteration.
“The 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show will gather some of the most cutting-edge, renowned landscape architects, garden designers, horticulturists, and florists from around the world to design dozens of breathtaking exhibits...” the society said in a statement.

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, an internationally recognized nonprofit organization founded in 1827, uses horticulture to advance the health and well-being of the Greater Philadelphia region. Its flower show is the nation’s largest — and the world’s longest-running — horticultural event.
Tickets for the 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show are on sale now at tickets.phsonline.org. There are various ticketing options ranging in price from $29.99 to $49.99. There’s also a “Flowers After Hours” dance party on March 9 that costs $75 and early-morning pre-admission tours that costs $120, or $140 if the tour includes a photography workshop.
