Central Bucks West hosted the Pink Out fundraising event in Doylestown Oct. 10.
The annual event, which is centered around the Central Bucks East vs. CB West girls volleyball match, includes many fundraising efforts coordinated and executed by both teams.
This year’s proceeds benefited Kin Wellness and Support Center, which a local nonprofit organization that was inspired by Corinne Transue Sikora, a Doylestown woman who lost her valiant battle against cancer. Kin is powered by community donations and provides crucial free services to those in the local community battling cancer.
CB East and CB West girls volleyball teams presented a donation of $3,300 to the organization.
