Watch Movies at the Mercer on select Thursday nights

Posted

On the third Thursday of each month, when the sun goes down, the nonprofit County Theater partners with the Mercer Museum and The Moving Picture Cinema for a family-friendly outdoor movie night.

Each film is projected on a mobile cinema unit, courtesy of the Moving Picture Cinema, on the green of the Mercer Museum, located at 84 S. Pine St., Doylestown,

This year, the lineup includes “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” “Dirty Dancing” and “The Dark Crystal.”

General admission costs $12 per person, or $10 for members. Young person and youth member tickets are also available, for $8 and $5 respectively. Additionally, popcorn and ticket packages are available for purchase for the following prices: $17 for general, $15 for members, $13 for young people, and $10 for youth members. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.

The County Theater opened in 1938, and produces a variety of special events including Hollywood Summer Nights, Lively Arts, County After Dark, and more.
