The Washington Crossing Foundation on Sunday honored veterans and celebrated George Washington’s 292nd birthday at Shadyside, its headquarters in Bristol Borough.
The event featured music, a fife-and-drum corps, a buffet dinner, a color guard ceremony and a birthday cake with 292 candles for Washington, as portrayed by Langhorne Police Chief John Godzieba.
