The Great Cupid Run, a family-friendly Valentine’s Day-themed event to benefit the Bucks County Opportunity Council, took place Feb. 24 at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown Township.
The event offered several options, including a 10K, Solemate 10K, 5K and a 2-mile fun run/walk. Participants were encouraged to run in Valentine’s Day-themed clothing and costumes, with awards being given out in various costume categories. In addition, finisher medals were given out to each participant who crossed the finish line. Hosted by Scoogie Events, the Great Cupid Run also included an after-party with a DJ, beverages and treats, and an awards celebration.
