Veterans saluted at Lambertville service

Posted

Residents on both sides of the Delaware River came together on Nov. 11 to honor generations of men and women who raised their hand in service to the nation.

Presented by VFW Post 7921 and American Legion Post 120, this year’s Veterans Day ceremony in Lambertville, N.J., also marked the inauguration of the American Legion Post 120 & Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7921 Community Center of Influence Award.

Commanders Georg Hambach and Robert Miller honored Michael Burn of Michael Burn Architecture for his service to the members of the two posts and his generous contributions to the rebuilding of the hall at 320 N. Union St. following the destruction of Hurricane Ida. In addition to the plaque, Burn received a memorial stone with his father’s name and service on it to be placed in the court of honored veterans at the Toscanni Building. His father served in World War II.
