Under gray skies, a rainbow of color parades through New Hope

Posted

The annual PrideFest Parade, hosted by New Hope Celebrates, took place May 20.

The parade began in Lambertville, N.J., and crossed over the Delaware River into New Hope, where local and national marching bands, floats and nonprofit organizations were featured. The highlight of the parade was the New Hope Celebrates’ 100-foot rainbow flag.

This year’s parade was attended by thousands of visitors who watched or participated even with heavy rain showers, which did not seem to dampen their high spirits and excitement.
