Tragic shooting leaves grieving family behind

Posted

The death of Jason Albert Kutt and the way in which he died was truly heartbreaking. His family, loved ones and friends will never recover fully from the reckless, senseless and criminal events that ended his young life.
Equally reckless and senseless is a criminal justice system that now allows his killer, Kenneth Troy Heller, to possibly walk out of a state prison in seven years. Heller will then be able to return to Nockamixon State Park, don his hunting gear, aim his rifle at the back of the head of a human being and extinguish the life of another innocent victim.

DA Matthew Weintraub states that there are “no winners here”. But there are winners and they are Kenneth Troy Heller and his attorney who bargained his plea. I truly doubt that Jason’s loved ones can ever grieve their loss in any degree of peace separate from Heller. A miscarriage of justice has taken place right before our very eyes here in Bucks County Pa.
