Traditional Artists Show returns to The Barn at Southern Pines at Cornerstone Farm

Posted

The 13th annual Traditional Artists Show will take place Saturday and Sunday in The Barn at Southern Pines at Cornerstone Farm, 5361 Curly Hill Road in Pipersville.

Once again, the show’s beneficiary is Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Bucks County, an organization that has saved thousands of wild animals since its inception in 1979. It currently treats in excess of 3,500 injured and orphaned animals each year. The organization also sponsors an education center and summer camp programs.

The show is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.both days. Admission and on-site parking are free. There will be a silent auction, raffle and over 300 original works of art available for sale.

Over the years, The Traditional Artists Show has raised over $90,000 for local nonprofits such as Aark Wildlife. This year’s artists are excited and pleased to exhibit their paintings and help raise funds and awareness for Aark Wildlife.

This year includes some of the area’s most popular, talented and award-winning artists such as Sandy Askey Adams, Jeff Charlesworth, Tracy Everly, Jim Lukens, Betty Minnucci, Cindy Roesinger, Jas Szygiel, Emily Thompson, George Thompson, and Helena van Emmerik-Finn.

The show is also pleased to introduce two new award-winning artists: Jo-Ann Osnoe, whose abstract work utilizes oil and cold wax as her medium of choice; and Robert Barrett, who presents watercolors of local scenery and birds. Each artist will be present during the entire show.
