Toys for Tots collection surpasses expectations

Posted

The Toys for Tots collection boxes at Bensalem High School were overflowing again this year. All the toys collected are on their way to the Lower Bucks County Toys for Tots warehouse, where they will be sorted and redistributed to ensure every child has a present to open this holiday season. For the third year in a row, the collection surpassed previous year’s totals. Between Bensalem High School and Valley Elementary, the schools collected 350-plus toys, stocking stuffer-sized toys and books. Special thanks go to the VIVA Service Club (Valley Inspires Volunteer Action) at Valley Elementary School and advisors Kristin Sigovich and Kelly Tomlinson, who continue to surprise the Bensalem High School Marine Corps JROTC with so many donated toys.
