Tour Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum

Posted

Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum is a natural paradise located on a beautiful stretch of the Delaware River in Bensalem, PA. Andalusia is a great place to spend a day exploring history and nature.
The historic house, a National Historic Landmark, is surrounded by 50 acres of lush gardens, woodlands, and waterfront. Visitors can tour the mansion and gardens, or simply relax, enjoy the scenery, and have a picnic lunch on the grounds.
The historic house is filled with art and personal possessions from the 1790s to the 1970s, showcasing an unparalleled look into the nation’s past through the eyes of the influential Biddle family that lived there. The gardens and arboretum mix preserved native woodlands with spectacular gardens that evoke the romantic English landscape tradition.

Andalusia is open to the public April 1-Nov. 8. 2024 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and select Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. Group tours are also available by advanced reservation.
