Posted

Titusville Presbyterian Church presents Rupert & Scheetz, featuring Vanessa Viscomi, for a two-hour coffeehouse style musical concert 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 16.

This concert features Bruce Rupert on vocals, guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin; Tim Scheetz on vocals, guitar, bass, tin whistle; and Viscomi on vocals, ukulele and percussion. The trio mixes original compositions, some cover as well as a few traditional numbers in their performance.

Singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, Rupert & Scheetz’s original compositions reflect their love and appreciation of many musical genres with elements of Americana, folk, country, bluegrass, rockabilly and Celtic sounds exhibited in their songs and instrumentals. Their newest album of original material, “Two Eagles,” featuring the vocals of Viscomi, was released in 2021.

Viscomi is a classically trained vocalist, whose styles range from jazz and blues to rockabilly and classic country.

The cost of the concert is $15 if preregistered and $20 at the door. This event is a BYOB. Family pricing is available.

The concert will be held in the Heritage Room of the church, 48 River Drive, Titusville, N.J.
