“The Mousetrap” takes Town and Country Players stage

The suspense is palpable, the excitement is mounting, and the stage is set for an unforgettable evening of mystery and intrigue as Town and Country Players presents “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie.

This timeless tale, penned by the “Queen of Mystery” herself, Agatha Christie, has been thrilling audiences worldwide since its debut in 1952. The iconic murder mystery has been a cornerstone of the theater world, holding the record as the longest-running play in London’s West End.

Set against the backdrop of Monkswell Manor, a snowbound guesthouse, “The Mousetrap” introduces a group of characters, each with their own secrets and suspicions. When a murder occurs, the guests find themselves trapped with a killer among them, leading to a web of deception, red herrings, and tense twists.

The audience becomes an integral part of the investigation, trying to piece together the clues and uncover the murderer’s identity before the final revelation.

Director David Swartz and producer Nancy Ridgeway, as well as the entire creative force behind this production, promise a fresh and gripping interpretation of this classic whodunit. “The Mousetrap” stars Kathryn Loveless as Mollie Ralston, Steve Runk as Giles Ralston, Tammy Tuckey as Miss Casewell, Nick Cardillo as Detective Trotter, Joe Perignat as Major Metcalf, Colin Jenei as Mr. Paravinci, Brandon Bacorn as Christopher Wren, Valerie Sharper as Mrs. Boyle, and Jen Ahr as Radio Announcer.
