Sesame Place to open new 123 Playground in spring

Posted

Sesame Place Philadelphia will introduce the 123 Playground, an all-new, 3,000-square-foot play area, in the spring.

The play area will provide seating for adults to relax and recharge under garden-inspired shades while their youngest ones run around and enjoy classic playground elements. This includes slides, soft play mounds, and interactive play panels featuring entertaining activities that children can enjoy on their own or with others, creating an experience that is physically and developmentally engaging.

Located just across from the iconic Sesame Street Neighborhood, the 123 Playground will be surrounded by flower beds and topiaries modeled after Sesame Street friends. It will be centrally located at the former site of the Sunny Day Carousel, with easy access to dining, shopping locations, and Meet and Greets with everyone’s favorite furry friends. The Sunny Day Carousel, currently being renovated, will move to the center of Sesame Plaza, greeting guests as they enter the theme park. The Sunny Day Carousel will open in its new location in the spring.
