Members of the community are invited to participate in the 40th annual Pennridge CROP Walk for Hunger on Sunday.

The event is sponsored by the congregations of the Pennridge Ministerium. Walkers will gather to raise funds to assist those who are food insecure, both locally and globally.

Participants are asked to bring nonperishable food to donate to the Pennridge FISH pantry, which will welcome walkers for a tour along the route.

Twenty-five percent of all proceeds will go to Pennridge FISH for local hunger use. The remaining funds will be used by Church World Service and its partner agencies for hunger relief in the U.S. and around the world.
