Posted

Arete Gallery, which sheds light on the issues of today through the eyes of the artists, will host a holiday exhibit featuring the artwork of John Lennon.

The show, which opens Friday, at the gallery located at 122 S. Main St., New Hope, and runs through the holiday season, until Dec. 25, presents work curated, in partnership with Image Makers Art, Inc.

“We are honored to partner with Image Makers Art to showcase John Lennon’s artwork here at Arete Gallery,” said Kim I. Plyler, gallery owner. “At a time when the world needs to give peace a chance, we believe in utilizing art to convey a healing message for humanity. John Lennon’s work aids in that mission.”

The show, which features select works of art created by Lennon and endorsed with his personal chop mark, and rare posters and photographs, runs with theme of peace and love.

Lennon’s artwork will be available for purchase exclusively at Arete Gallery during this exhibition. A portion of the sales will benefit Arete Gallery’s selected charity, the Martin Guitar Foundation.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
