New Hope Arts Center Grand Reopening raises $150,000 toward $1.25 million goal

Posted

The Board of New Hope Arts Center announced a significant milestone of $150,000 in successful fundraising during the organization’s weeklong celebratory reopening and ticketed events.

The institution officially reopened its doors June 6, starting with the “Beyond the Blueprint” Grand Reopening Celebration, followed by a “Members Only Celebration” on June 10. The ticketed events attracted over 200 supporters and artists who donated dollars, professional or volunteer time, or desirable auction items, garnering the organization an additional $150,000, approximately, in much-needed funds.

The newly raised funds help close the organization’s gap toward the $1.25-million-dollar Elevate the Arts campaign goal. The Elevate the Arts campaign has successfully enhanced audience accessibility through new ADA-compliant renovations, with the remaining funds needed to enrich and expand programming capacities. New Hope Arts is thankful for the generous, ongoing support of donors, board members, staff, and dedicated volunteers. Carol Cruickshanks, New Hope Arts executive director, remarked: “Always knowing we are in an extraordinary community, never did I realize this magnitude of success was possible; the level of dedication and generosity from our community, staff, and board has been overwhelming and has truly shaped a whole new dream for so many of us in the arts community and New Hope.”

Now fully open to the public and fully ADA compliant and accessible, the latest programming calendar at New Hope Arts is as follows:

Through July 30 - “Best of the Arts - New Hope Arts 2 -year showcase”; Aug. 12 - Sept. 10 - “Legacy Exhibition: Women in Photography Featuring Diane Levell Bucks County Master Artist”; Sept. 15-30 - Performance weekends; Oct. 1 - 30 - “ArtOber Annual Exhibition in Collaboration with Makers Alley, Milford, N.J.”; Nov. 4 - 26 “Reality’s Fugue - Virtual Reality, Meets Art and Philosophy”; and Dec. 2 - Jan. 14, 2024 - “Works in Wood 24th Annual Juried Exhibition.”
