Neshaminy High School community coming together to help answer child’s dream

Posted

Students from Neshaminy High School Interact Club have partnered with local businesses and groups to raise funds for a child on Sunshine Foundation’s waiting list.

Money raised will help answer the dream of Aaidyn Butcher. Aaidyn, age 5, diagnosed with level 3 severe autism and developmental delays, dreams of meeting Mickey Mouse and others at Walt Disney World with his family.

“Aaidyn dreams to visit Disney World to meet Mickey, Minnie and Rex from ‘Toy Story.’ This would be his first trip to another state and flying on a plane. Disney will be exciting for him and help stimulate his sensory and motor skills,” said Aaidyn’s mom.

Neshaminy’s Got Talent will take place on Thursday, April 18 at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne. The annual event will feature an evening with an array of diverse talents, from captivating musical performances and awe-inspiring dance routines to humorous skits and unique artistic expressions.

Other local businesses and groups that are helping to make Aaidyn’s dream come true with NHS Interact Club include, Comcast, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Gannon Insurance Agency, Feasterville Business Association, Penn Community Bank, Ungarino Family, and Rotary Clubs of Feasterville and Langhorne.

Interact is an international service-learning organization affiliated with the Rotary, with the goal to help make our world a better place.
