Michener Museum hosts programs with exhibition

The James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown presents programs for “Never Broken: Visualizing Lenape Histories,” on view Sept. 9, to Jan. 14.

The important and rare display of contemporary Lenape artworks and historical depictions of Penn’s Treaty explores how art shapes our understanding of Native American and Colonial history.

Never Broken programs include: “A Homecoming: Celebrating the Lenape Spirit,” 1-2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8; “Curator Talk with Laura Turner Igoe,” 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27; “Curator Talk with Joe Baker,” 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26; “Artist Talk with Holly Wilson,” 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8; and “Bows Unbroken: String Quartets in Lenapehoking,” 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.

All programs are $20 for general admission, $10 members, and $5 students. More information is available at www.michenerartmuseum.org.
