Kelly Sterr solo exhibition at Countryside Gallery

Posted

Countryside Gallery in Newtown presents the works of artist Kelly Sterr throughout July.

Sterr has always been an artist at heart. Her artistic abilities reached a serious level about 2015 when she became a member of Pine Shores Art Association.

In a short period of time Sterr has received several awards, including Artist Choice for her pen and ink, “Day Off,” and Honorable Mention for her pen and ink, “The Farm,” both of which hang at the Health and Wellness Center in Warrington, where she works as a Phlebotomist for Doylestown Health.

Sterr is a member of the Doylestown Art League, showing twice a year in its juried exhibition. Her patients, family and friends have also commissioned her to create pencil drawings from their cherished photos.

Although Sterr is most comfortable working in pen and ink, graphite and color pencil, she also explores watercolor under the guidance of Tom Rutledge at the Thomas E. Rutledge Artist Guild in West Creek.

Her original artwork, as well as signed giclee, can be seen on display at the gallery, at 2 S. State St., Newtown, the entire month of July. Call 215-968-2246 or visit online for information.
