As a Doylestown Township resident, I am so pleased to hear that the township supervisors operate in a bipartisan way. Incumbent Jen Herring (D) is the vice chair and Barbara Lyons (R) is the chair. Bringing on Judy Dixon will only serve to support a strong group that functions effectively.
Jen and Judy, as a team, represent experience and a longtime commitment to the community. Their opposing candidates have had no involvement in the township before deciding to run. In fact, our candidates bring substantial financial backgrounds and experience operating small businesses. That is exactly the kind of skills we need as we face financial decisions as a community.
