Joan Osborne brings her tour to the Sellersville Theater at 8 p.m. Dec. 1, in support of her album, “Nobody Owns You,” recently released via the label she founded, Womanly Hips Records, and produced by Ben Rice.
Her previous album, “Trouble and Strife,” took a very honest look at the socio-political landscape, yet “Nobody Owns You” finds Osborne, a seven-time Grammy nominee, in a very personal place where she contemplates life’s major questions. The introspective collection highlights Osborne’s songwriting prowess and offers inspiration, optimism and hope, surrounded by a roots and deeply soulful sound.
Osborne broke through 25 years ago with the multi-platinum “Relish” and its touchstone mega-smash “One of Us.”
