Retired people or those nearing it can learn more about the basics of Medicare and the benefits provided by Social Security at a workshop on Sept. 7 at Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton, presented by Everence Financial.
The workshop, “Your Path to Medicare and Social Security,” starts at 6:30 p.m.
Consultants Leah Ludwig, Cassandra Zetts and Matt Novak will discuss how to enroll in Medicare and explain what is covered by the government health care plan.
They will also cover issues and planning considerations related to health care costs in retirement and how to understand and maximize Social Security benefits.
