Posted

The Friends of the Doylestown Library will host its first-ever Arts & Crafts Fair, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the James-Lorah House Auditorium, 100 N. Broad St., Doylestown.

The Arts & Crafts Fair will feature 25 juried artists and craftspeople selling handcrafted items, including jewelry, clothing, pottery, paintings and woodwork. Admission is free, and refreshments and tickets for prize drawings can be purchased on site. For parking, vendor and other information, visit: friendsofdtownlibrary.org/arts-and-crafts-fair.

“The Arts & Crafts Fair is a great opportunity to shop for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation gifts,” said Friends fundraising co-chair Donna Tobin.

“We have some great vendors selling their original creations,” added Fundraising co-Chair Lorrie Richardson, “and they have also graciously donated items for our prize drawings.”

Proceeds from the Arts & Crafts Fair will help fund Doylestown Library programs, services and equipment, including the monthly publication Book Page distributed free at the library, the popular Reading to the Dogs program held the first Saturday of each month, and special programs like Chair Yoga on Friday mornings.
