Free Santa pics, holiday spirit coming to Easton Farmers Market

Posted

With the season of celebration, gathering and gift-giving upon us, the Easton Farmers Market (EFM) has scheduled several special activities to add holiday spirit to its usual Saturday festivities.

Held in Scott Park along Larry Holmes Drive, EFM will offer free photos with Santa and his adorable merry goats – Millie and Mimi from vendor The Bubbly Goat – 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Dogs are welcome to be photographed but the goats cannot be part of the photo.

The Galena Brass (aka “The Little Brass Band of the Lehigh Valley”) will be strolling the market Dec. 2 from 10 a.m.-noon and Dec. 9 from 9-11 a.m. to have their festive sounds reverberate through the venue.

And for people planning holiday meals and gatherings, the market offers everything for a fresh and festive holiday season, including a bounty of locally grown produce and fresh herbs, pasture-raised meats and eggs, cheese, wine, artisan baked goods, honey, freshly roasted coffee and a plethora of prepared foods.

An array of crafters, makers and guest vendors will offer a selection of local items ideal for holiday gift shopping.

The final day of the 2023 Easton Farmers Market will be Dec. 16. After a holiday hiatus, the EFM Winter Market will kick off on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 325 Northampton Street (outside the Easton Public Market). The winter market operates every Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon through April.
