Posted

An All Saints’ Choral Evensong service with the “Requiem” by Gabriel Fauré will be offered at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, by Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Lambertville, N.J.

The service is given in thanksgiving for the lives of the departed and especially for those who have died during these recent years through conflict and the pandemic.

The Choir of Saint Andrew’s Church will sing Charles Villiers Stanford’s “Magnificat” and “Nunc Dimittis in C” and the “Requiem” by Gabriel Fauré, with orchestra.

Soloists are Cassandra Lambros, violin; and James Splond, baritone; Carolyn Hanif, soprano; and Alison Simpson, harp. The choir and orchestra are directed by Michael T. Kevane, organist/choirmaster at Saint Andrew’s.

Those who wish to attend may provide names of departed loved ones to be remembered at the service by sending those names ahead to priest@standrewslambertville.net or by offering them verbally during the remembrances in the service.

All are welcome to attend the Evensong Service. The link to the service may be found at standrewslambertville.org.
