Join the Tinicum Players’ 1860s “Decades Club” at the Erwin Stover House in Tinicum Park in Upper Black Eddy from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.
Step back in time to the 1860s and explore the news and games of the decade. Dance to Civil War era tunes played by Fig for a Kiss. Hear the latest about the boys on the front lines. If the weather is fitting, play a round of croquet. Explore old time photography. Learn to use a fan artfully with a course in fan flirtation techniques.
As always, the event features a period tasting from the local distillery, County Seat Spirits. Period dress is to be admired but is not required of visitors. The event is free, but space is limited so register today; email ashollander@buckscounty.org.
