DHS hosts open house with artist Greg Gaskey

Posted

Meet Doylestown artist Greg Gaskey from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 24, at Doylestown Historical Society, where his “Still Life On Main” exhibit is on view until Jan. 12.

Gaskey’s work is fundamentally linked to and inspired by the bucolic landscapes of Bucks County.

For more than 30 years, Gaskey has lived and worked in Doylestown Borough, finding studio space in historic barns and open areas nearby. Gasky’s early works are connected to the Doylestown Historical Society barn and park.

The barn has been restored and is currently undergoing another expansion. The park space, also part of that plan, will expand and beautify the park for DHS and for the neighboring community.

Stop by to speak to Gaskey on the 24th, have a glass of cider, and visit the Society Shop for holiday gift specials. DHS is located at 56 S. Main St., Doylestown.
