Claus & Paws at Stella of New Hope to benefit rescue organization

Posted

Stella of New Hope, a modern American restaurant overlooking the Delaware River, invites four-legged furry companions and their humans to its second-floor patio from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 for Claus & Paws, pet photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a good cause.

Stella of New Hope, named after owner Sherri and Kevin Daugherty’s beloved rescue pit bull, invites pet owners to its patio to capture this year’s holiday photo featuring their furry best friends. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be situated in front of Stella’s large wood-burning fireplace adorned in festive decor ready to listen to each pet’s holiday wish list.

With a suggested $10 donation to Animal Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating homeless animals, located in Lambertville, N.J., dog moms and dads can bring their own cameras and phones and snap a few festive photos of their four-legged companions. Animal Alliance will also have a handful of adoptable dogs onsite for anyone looking to bring home a furry friend this holiday season.

Stella of New Hope will keep the holiday cheer throughout the month with a Christmas Eve Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24. Offerings include the Smoked Salmon Platter with a toasted everything bagel, caper, cream cheese, heirloom tomato and red onion, and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes served with pure maple syrup, and more. Additionally, Stella will be offering a selection of holiday specials. The restaurant will be closed for dinner service on Dec. 24. Reservations are encouraged and can be made on OpenTable.
