Explore the art of painting using water-mixable oils, featuring all the “wonderful” qualities of traditional oils without the use of harsh solvents or chemicals.
Spring beginner-intermediate oil painting classes taught by Christine McHugh are open for this six-week course on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon at the Haycock Community Center, 1014 Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown. Classes begin March 11 and run through April 15.
The class will cover the basics of using the artists tools, and move along to color mixing, values, composition, light and shadow as participants paint the subject of their choice. A material list will be provided upon request.
