Charles Adcock did not respond to a request for an interview. Following are excerpts from his website.

Adcock will appear on the ballot Nov. 3 in his bid for the state house seat in Pennsylvania’s 31st District.

Adcock, 45 and a Republican, will challenge incumbent Democratic state Rep. Perry Warren.

The 31st District includes Yardley, Newtown, Lower Makefield and parts of Morrisville.

Adcock and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, one in college and two in Council Rock schools.

He studied automotive marketing management in college. Today, he an auctioneer and business owner. He has been a volunteer on Newtown’s Historical Architectural Review Board.

“Our government of “the people” has been taken over by career politicians.

Term limits should be mandatory at all levels of government. Only citizen legislators will vote for term limits. I will join the fight to that end,” he says.

His platform, he says includes common sense, God, family, friends and community. “I support our police and first responders. I believe that everyone has a right to safety and be treated fairly. I believe we are all entitled to our opinions, political or otherwise. I believe the government should be small, efficient and stay out of the way.”

He promises to stay for just one term, if he is elected to the state Legislator.
