Cabaret to feature Broadway favorites Gilbert & Sullivan, delicious desserts

The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents an Autumn Dessert Cabaret, featuring songs of Broadway and Gilbert & Sullivan and delicious desserts and beverages, Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2 and 8 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Paxson Hall, 84 E. Oakland Ave., Doylestown.

The singers include Jason Adamo of Trenton, Bob Binkley of New Britain; Jane Betro of Bethlehem; Thomas Blair, Debra Lynn Cotterall, Julie Simon, Julie Smith and Brian McKay of Philadelphia; Scott Cooper of Croydon; Clare Fannon of Newtown; Alexandra Gilliam of Wyncote; Sarah Folsom-Kovarik and Theresa Swartz of Ambler; Dennis Klöppel of Doylestown; Lily Kull of Ardmore; Katie Pelletier of North Wales; Nik Peterson of Souderton; Eli Rosen of Melrose Park; Kira Scharf of Ewing, N.J.; Martha Ellen Smith of Levittown; and Joseph Stockette of Langhorne.

Accompanying the cast will be Bucks Gilbert & Sullivan’s Music Director Lee F. Milhous on piano, Andrea Maurer on flute and Sean Duffy on bass.

The program will feature such popular stage songs as “The Simple Joys of Maidenhood” from “Camelot,” and arias such as “Musetta’s Waltz” from “La Bohéme.” Tickets for adults are $20 if purchased at the door, $10 for students (18 and under) and adult tickets are only $15 if purchased online by using the discount link on the group’s website at www.BucksGilbertAndSullivan.org.
