Bucks student part of first class of graduates at The Quaker School at Horsham

Posted

As it is for high school seniors everywhere, commencement day was a big deal for the students at The Quaker School at Horsham.

But for the graduating seniors and their families, the celebration marked even more of a milestone as they were the first class of high school graduates at this school, where children with complex challenges become confident learners.

The Quaker School at Horsham (TQS) is a private school that serves 86 students grades K-12 with complex learning needs such as ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, expressive and receptive language disorders and anxiety disorders. After teaching and supporting students in grades K-8 for decades, TQS opened its Upper School in the fall of 2019 and celebrated its first graduate in spring 2022.

On June 9, TQS celebrated its first graduating class of students: Nyzier Brabham, Philadelphia native, Brittany Gonzalez, Philadelphia native, and Howard Reichert, Bucks County native.

The commencement ceremony was held on the school’s campus, bringing together the students’ families and the entire TQS student body.
