Bucks County Spa and Salon Self Care Month partnerships sought

Posted

The second annual Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month, set to run from May 6 through June 6, is now accepting partnerships.

Last year’s success showcased 40 spa and salon partners who collectively raised $20,000 for the local cancer community through Kin Wellness and Support Center.

Invitations to participate are being sent to salons, spas and med-spas across Bucks County. Several businesses have already confirmed their partnership, including: David J. Witchell, Posh Hair Design, Skin n’ Tonic, Yardley Day Spa, BYOB (Be your Own Beautiful), Rituals by Dona French, Kaleidoscope Angles, MALT Hair Studio and Doylestown Float Studio. True Believers Barber Shop, Nancy Roehl Niche Beauty, Bangz Salon, The Salt Cave, Eden Organics, Meraki Studio, La Chele Medical Aesthetics and Joli Boutique.

How it works: When people throughout the community book an appointment at one of the participating spas, med-spas or salons, a percentage of their treatment and/or product fee will benefit Kin Wellness and Support Center and the local cancer patients, their caregivers and oncology health care workers. The program is carefully devised so local residents can transfer their self-care into care for local cancer patients.

For those interested in getting their salon, med-spa or spa involved, email keith@welcometokin.org or call 267-544-5981.

The Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month has a dedicated webpage at www.welcometokin.org/self-care where participating locations are listed with a hyperlink to their business. As a visual indicator, all participating locations will also have a decal displayed in their window.
