A Bucks County Correctional Officer wanted for second degree murder in New York was arrested over the weekend while on duty at the Doylestown Township facility, according to authorities.
Aaron A. Mayers, 25, of Doylestown Township, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and Doylestown Township Police Saturday morning, officials said.
Mayers was arraigned by District Judge Stacy Wertman and taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where, according to authorities, he’ll be held until his extradition hearing.
