Bucks author announces new edition of textbook

Posted

The third edition of the textbook, “Drugs, The Brain and Behavior,” by forensic specialist Dr. John Brick, was released on March 26.

The addition adds 100 extra pages to the previous editions, long a mainstay of many schools, libraries and professional offices. “Drugs, The Brain and Behavior” is written with the lay reader in mind so that it’s in a readily understood format, which adds to its universal appeal.

An expert in drugs, alcohol and bioterrorism, Brick maintains an office in Yardley. He has over 150 publications in the field, has been on the editorial boards of major professional journals on alcohol and drugs, lectures widely both nationally and internationally and when co-director for the Center of Alcohol Studies, taught pharmacology at Rutgers for over 20 years.

As a member of The Vidocq Society, Brick offers his considerable expertise in the solving of cold case murders.
