Born in Lansdale, PA, in July 1958, and raised in Hilltown, PA, he was the son of Alice (Trigg) Kachline, of Sellersville, PA, and Edward Camburn, of Greentown, PA.

As a general contractor who constructed countless homes, Bruce had a knack for putting hammer to a nail and creating something meaningful this was how he showed his love. Bruce defined “labor of love” when he built the greatest home of all a beautiful log house in the rolling hills of Durham (Riegelsville), PA where his family would begin and grow together for decades to come.

Bruce took tremendous pleasure in his role as a father and “Poppy”. He especially enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren splashing at the pool and four-wheeler rides around the yard. He also took joy in coaching and supporting each of his children in youth sports. Bruce always lived life with a loyal golden retriever by his side.

Surviving with his wife and parents are three children, Zane T. Camburn of Riegelsville, Zachary E. Camburn and his wife Brooke, of Kintnersville, PA, and Brynne Taylor Camburn, of Riegelsville; two grandchildren Riley and Owen; a brother, Wayne Camburn and his wife Julie, of Quakertown, PA; and two sisters, Deborah Godshall and her husband Robert, of Alburtis, PA, and Kathy Scheetz, of Perkasie, PA.

True to his giving nature, Bruce was a lifelong blood donor and in death, continued to better the lives of others by donating his earthly remains.

A Celebration of Bruce’s Life is being held Saturday, May 8th at the Raven’s Nest Tavern, 625 Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, PA. Please stop by anytime after 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or www.heart.org
