The Lingohocken Garden Club held its annual flower show on July 5 at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church. Elsie Holly won Best of Show for her flowering annual planter of patriotic colors. Categories included USA, Special Occasion, Ukraine and Garden Under Glass. The Lingohocken Garden Club, a small local club in existence since 1935, meets the second Tuesday of each month. Crafts, speakers, flower gardening tips, local field trips are just a few of the things members share with one another. If interested in joining, call 267-253-6647.
