Baum School of Art exhibit showcases creativity of faculty and staff

The Baum School of Art is showcasing the outstanding individuals who contribute to the dynamic spirit of the institution through the bi-annual Faculty and Staff Exhibition.

Currently displayed in the David E. Rodale and Rodale Family Galleries, 510 Linden St., Allentown, this event highlights the diverse talents and steadfast dedication of the school’s esteemed educators and administrative staff. Open until Jan. 27, with an artists’ reception Jan. 18, it offers a special opportunity to delve into the array of skills and passion that define the school community.

The Baum School of Art offers approximately 350 classes with over 3,200 students annually in art, design, and fashion. In this exhibition, visitors will see the diverse array of media and styles, including traditional and conceptual works in design, fashion, painting, pottery, and sculpture that the school has to offer. This is a unique opportunity to view the artwork of the exceptional artists responsible for instructing and inspiring thousands of Lehigh Valley students of all ages.

The community is invited to an artists’ reception on Third Thursday, Jan. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. The gallery is free and all ages are welcome. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For information, visit www.baumschool.org.
