Posted

In an immersive journey through the lens, ArtWRKD invites the community to experience “A Beat of Time,” a photography exhibit that delves into the intricacies of fleeting moments.

Featuring local photographers Don Ross, JT Talese and Christopher H. Tenev, the exhibit promises to transport viewers through the heartbeats of history, emotion, and life itself.

The exhibit opens Thursday, March 21, with a public reception from 6 to 9 p.m., and runs until April 6, at 128 S. State St., Newtown.

Each photograph displayed is a testament to the power of a single moment. From the serene landscapes to the bustling streets, “A Beat of Time” encapsulates the essence of existence in its purest form. The exhibit challenges viewers to contemplate the significance of each moment, urging them to find beauty in the ordinary and meaning in the mundane.

“We often overlook the significance of the moments that shape our lives,” says ArtWRKD curator Ashara Shapiro. “Through this exhibit, our patrons will see how each of these talented artists not only captures these moments but also celebrates their significance in our collective journey.”

Featuring the works of both emerging talents and seasoned veterans in photography, “A Beat of Time” offers a diverse array of perspectives and narratives. From candid portraits to breathtaking landscapes, each photograph tells a unique story, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions of time.

As visitors journey through the exhibit, they will be met with a sense of nostalgia, wonder, and introspection. Whether it’s the evocative black-and-white compositions or the vibrant hues of a street scene, every photograph serves as a window into the past, present, and future.
